ABOUT THE COURSE:

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing) is a two-year post graduate degree program designed for registered nurses seeking advanced education and specialization.
The course focuses on developing clinical,teaching, and research skills, preparing graduates for specialized nursing roles.
Specializations include areas like Oncology, Cardiovascular & Thoracic, Critical Care, Neuro sciences, Psychiatric, Gastroenterology, and Medical-Surgical.
The program includes internships, clinical visits, lab sessions, practical sessions, and a research thesis. Graduates can pursue careers as Staff Nurses, Registered Nurses,Nursing Managers, and more.
Eligibility
- Age: 20 Years
- The Candidates should have undergone in B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience after B.Sc Nursing with registration in SNC
- Minimum 1 year of work experience prior or after post B.Sc Nursing
- Candidates shall be medically fit.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
INDIAN STUDENTS
The following certificates / documents have to be submitted along with duly filled Application form (Originals + 4 Photostat Copies)
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied.
- UG Provisional /Degree Certificate.
- Migration Certificate for the students who have passed other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
- Council Registration Certificate from Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The candidates who have registered with other state Nursing Council should submit the Registration Certificate of other state council also.
- Eligibility Certificate obtained from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
- Community Certificate
- Native Certificate
- Passport Size Photographs (5 Nos.)
- Aadhaar Copy
NRI STUDENTS
- He/ She should be registered in the website https://indianfrro.gov.in under the Form-S/ Form-2.
- NRI status of financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal.
- Certificate of Relationship between NRI financial supporter and the candidate issued by the competent authority, valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.
- Original and Copies of Passport and Visa of the candidate.
- NRE (Non Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.
- Candidates must be medically fit to pursue the course.
